Handmade
Our BF@ Rawhide DENTAL chews are made from the inner, digestible layer of the hide of free-range cattle from Brazil. These hides are a byproduct of meat production for human consumption. After slaughter, the hides are split mechanically. The tough, indigestible outer layer (used for leather products) is removed. The soft, fully digestible inner layer is then thoroughly washed and cut into the desired pieces. After being manually folded into various shapes, the rawhide chews are dried on racks for several days, after which they become hard and firm. Because it is a natural product,
the rawhide chews may differ slightly in size and colour.
