Enterococcus faecium and Bacillus veezensis
The gut-friendly bacteria Enterococcus faecium and Bacillus velezensis restore balance to your dog or cat's gut flora. Both strains are officially approved in the EU as zootechnical additives (category "gut flora stabilizers") and both survive stomach acid. They create an environment in which beneficial bacteria, such as lactic acid bacteria, thrive and harmful bacteria, such as Streptococcus and Salmonella, are suppressed.

Enterococcus faecium: contains a coating (protective layer), fairly resistant to stomach acid, always living, vegetative (non-sporulating), active directly in the small and large intestine
Bacillus velezensis: spore former, survives stomach acid almost 100%, endospores, active only in the small intestine (after germination).

In short: Bacillus velezensis is a "dormant" spore that only awakens in the intestines; Enterococcus faecium is already awake and fighting its way through the stomach. An ideal combination. And so, both are included in our probiotic tablets for dogs and cats.

Both gut-friendly bacteria are registered with the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA), guaranteeing a safe and high-quality product for your pet.
Mannano-oligosaccharides (MOS): prebiotic fibers derived from the cell walls of Saccharomyces cerevisie, with prebiotic and immunostimulating properties. They positively modulate intestinal flora and promote the growth of beneficial gut bacteria.
Fructo-oligosaccharides (FOS): prebiotic fibres that promote the growth of friendly intestinal bacteria and can contribute to healthy digestion and the general health of your dog and/or cat.
Inulin: prebiotic that promotes the growth of beneficial bacteria in the intestines.
Psyllium (flea seed): promotes bowel regularity thanks to its ability to absorb water and form a gel-like mass.
Matricaria recutita extract (chamomile extract): supports the stomach, intestines and digestion.
Yeast: yeast with devitalized cells of Saccharomyces cerevisiae, enriched with vitamins and nutrients.

Why probiotics can also be interesting?
Both deworming agents (ask your veterinarian) and/or Giardia itself can damage the intestinal wall and disrupt intestinal flora. For this reason, animals that have had Giardia often remain sensitive to their gastrointestinal tract for life. Our BF® Probiotic products, liquid, tablet, or candy, provide the necessary support.

Probiotics can help dogs and cats with food allergies, as they can strengthen the immune system and balance intestinal flora, increasing resistance to allergens. This can reduce allergy symptoms.
