Which other dogs is Active HE suitable for?
Active High Energy contains a healthy percentage of fat. Fat slows stomach emptying and therefore digestion, which can be beneficial for some intestinal disorders. Fat is generally easily digestible, which is why dogs with EPI (pancreatic disease), IBD (chronic inflammatory bowel disease), and gastritis (inflammation of the stomach) often have less vomiting or diarrhea with a high-fat diet!

For young dogs of medium to large breeds who are at least 3 months old, Active HE kibble can also be suitable if regular puppy kibble becomes too small. Be careful not to overfeed, as the calcium content is higher than in regular puppy food. Some breeds are very sensitive to higher calcium levels.
